Gempa Sinabang Aceh 7.2 SR – West Sumatera is most often attack by an earthquake and perhaps you’re still remember gempa sumbar view month ago. Huge earthquake shook back of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Wednesday, April 7, 2010 promptly at 05:15 pm. BMKG noted strength of this quake reached 7.2 on the Richter scale, while the United States Geological Survey said the quake was magnitude 7.7 on the Richter scale. Earthquake epicenter located southeast of Sinabang, 2.33 N – 97.02 E with a depth of 34 km. People in Medan, Padang and Nias  feel this shocking earthquake, especially after going three aftershocks with a lower strength.

The first aftershock occurred at 05:26 am, with the power of 5.1 on the Richter scale. The second aftershock occurred two minutes later with a power of 5 SR, and the next earthquake measuring 5.2 at 05:34 pm SR.

Sumbar kembali diguncang gempa bumi dengan kekuatan diatas 5 skala richter hari ini yaitu tepatnya pada rabu pagi hari. Gempa pertama terjadi pada pukul 08:11:57 WIB dengan magnitude 6.1 SR, koordinat 1.48 LS – 99.33 BT,  56 km Tenggara Siberut Mentawai-Sumbar dengan kedalaman 10 KM dan gempa ke dua terjadi pada pukul 08:47:17 WIB dengan magnitude 5.3 SR koordinat 1.69 LS – 99.10 BT, 46 km Tenggara Siberut Mentawai-Sumbar kedalaman 25 Km. Gempa ini tentu saja membuat panik warga namun sampai siang hari ini belum dilaporkan sejumlah kerusakan yang terjadi.
